Featuring artworks from past, current, and upcoming presentations, the stockroom offers the opportunity to engage more deeply with each artist’s practice beyond the exhibition timeline.

Lucy Anderson is a Brisbane based artist who works predominantly with oil on found pieces of pine. Since graduating in 2012 from Queensland College of Art, Lucy has held solo exhibitions and been part of various group shows and art prizes in Australia including receiving ‘highly commended’ at the 2018 Moreton Bay Art Awards and Belle Art Start. Her works are part of private and public collections including Queensland University of Technology.

Ming’s work traverses the realms of image making, collage and printmaking, reflecting the fluidity of her practice. Her work delves into the intricate relationship between the human form and nature, particularly oceanic regions, employing a captivating dissection and assemblage of form, place, and textures. Her works play on ideas of connection to place and space, nostalgic daydreams of other worlds. Focusing in on and expanding these worlds, that are right here in front of us.

Lucia Canuto, formally trained as a printmaker. Since studying, her work has expanded through the mediums of screen print, cyanotype, photography and drawing as well as experiments utilising both plant based and synthesised dyes, reminiscent of alchemy.
She is interested in language, translation and archival print materials (mainly newspapers and small publications). Her most recent body of work has has been influenced by Donna Haraway’s theory of Sympoiesis. Lucia is part of the Kunst collective who have recently opened an Artist run intitiative in the Byron Bay industrial estate.
