“My name is Tylah Saunders, I'm a Gundtijmara artist. Our Country is in Southwest Victoria, surrounding the World Heritage listed, Lake Condah.
Art, for me, started as a very personal journey, and it wasn't until after several years before I began sharing it with friends and family.
While my work is contemporary, It's always been a way for me to connect with my culture. It has become a means for me to express who I am, as an Indigenous man.
Now, though, it brings me so much joy to be able to share my work with people. It has given me a sense of pride about who I am and where I come from.” - Tylah Saunders
