'Waybarra - weaving' - Hannah Lange

$3,200.00
Sold Out

By Hannah Lange - 'Waybarra - weaving'

70.5cm x 92cm

Acrylic on cotton canvas

Waybarra is the Wiradjuri word for weave. Weaving is a lifeline for our culture with woven designs creating everyday essentials such as fish traps, food storage and water carrying! Upon my own personal observation I’ve been seeing a connection between these traditional weaving patterns and patterns occurring in nature. This painting pays homage to those beautiful patterns and highlights the deeper connection.

This is an original artwork by Hannah Lange. Please find shipping information for this piece, or please enquire here.
