Silk is a beautiful yet delicate fabric, it naturally allows light to pass through and has a degree of transparency. Please note for works of this scale, a central support bar is required within the stretcher frame to ensure the silk can be properly stretched and supported. As a result, the stretcher bars are subtly visible behind the artwork.
