Made with a combination of paint, eucalyptus leaf dye collected from my yard and an old house painter drop-sheet, the work holds a physical record of place and process. The marks left behind on the painters drop sheet informed the work that then was slowly stained with layers of a mixture of natural dye and paint. The marks are intuitive in order to manifest an emotional response to the landscape and work along side it.
